- Kath Jack Review added: 2017.12.17★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Appalling experience over the last few days trying to get a very simple fit for work letter for son. The only helpful receptionist was Sue. It's an awful set up trying to see a doctor and all the same day appointments are usually gone by the time you finally get through by phone about ten minutes after the lines open. The one receptionist (not sue) almost reduced me to tears with her rudeness and sharp tone and I left the surgery shaking. The cost of the medical report was £36 but I had to pay £48 to get it done today rather than wait 7-10 days. I also have another son with very complex disabilities and fittleworth medical supplies have faxed this surgery for a prescription 3 times in the last 2 weeks and they STILL haven't had any acknowledgement or a prescription back from them.
I am a full time carer and life is stressful enough without this sort of service. I am now going to spend tomorrow trying to find a different doctors surgery. Oh and as for the call back triage system, I once had to take a call in the middle of tescos and explain my son's ongoing bowel problems and request suppositories, not private, not cool. Thanks for the embarrassment Harlequin.
