  Well, I really thought I was going to get my money's worth with this place but it was a let down. Don't let the 5 stars some people have given fool you. Go and check the place out before you put down your deposit. It was my first accommodation and it was a real let down. Looks beautiful from the outside but the rooms are tacky. I wish I had read the reviews before signing the contract without viewing the place.
  
  There's rats at this accommodation, if you report it they don't do anything about it. Disputes with flat mates handled poorly. Maintenance work all the time even though we don't really know what they are doing. When they do come they will leave your door unlocked meaning anyone can come and take stuff from your room and guaranteed they will blame it on you. Your seriously better off pushing your budget a little bit higher instead of staying here. The place needs to be refurbished but they are clearly refusing to, but very quick to hunt you down for rental payments. Don't let the pool table, gym and common room fool you, the gym had limited equipment when the pictures show more.
  
  The list could actually go on but overall the pictures lie, take a look yourself and the staff will be nice to you up until you actually living there and oh they change the rules as you go, even though they should be drafting it into the contacts and pretend they send emails out about changes when they don't. Last and most importantly, they cut off your access to the building which includes your room days before your actual tenancy end date without even notifying you.

  My daughter was here for her first year at uni. Plus sides, the security of the building was excellent I always felt reassured that she would be safe. It is very local to town and therefore means she had an easy walk to uni. Downsides are the cleanliness. Often the bins outside would be spilling over and the hallway leading upto her room didn't always look cleaned. But overall she had a good experience living there and the facilities available to her were good.
