I had a pleasant but absent minded 'Beautician' do a gel French manicure for me. It wasn't to my liking - nails looked cheap - I didn't want to acrylic look. My finger burnt under the UV lamp because the top coat had run down to side of my finger. I asked for the gel to be removed. Nails ended up in a more shocking condition than when I arrived. Don't expect too much!
